The first time you use a Web browser to make a secure connection to an ESX Server machine — which typically occurs when you configure the server (see Configuring the ESX Server System) — a dialog box asks whether you want to accept the security certificate presented by the server.

To do so, follow the steps below or take the equivalent steps for your browser version.

• Accepting the Certificate for an Internet Explorer 6.0 Browser
• Accepting the Certificate for a Netscape Navigator 7.0 Browser
• Accepting the Certificate for a Mozilla 1.x Browser
