VMware ESX Server 2.5.3 Driver Disk for LSI 1064 Controllers on Sun Fire x4100 and x4200 Servers
This is an LSI 1064 driver disk, part of an interim workaround solution for installing ESX 2.5.3 on Sun Fire x4100 and x4200 Server. Applying this driver will enable local boot support to the Sun Fire x4100 and x4200 server. When this driver is integrated into the next version of ESX with support for the LSI 1064 controller, customers will be required to migrate to that version, as this interim workaround will no longer be supported. Please review Knowledge Base article 2085 for more information.
Note: We only support this LSI 1064 hardware in the non-RAID configuration.
