Each event has a unique identifier to assist you in tracking various events with automation tools. The types of events that are sent to the Event Viewer include: To access the Event Viewer, choose Start > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer. Select the Application log to view GSX Server events. You can modify the information that gets logged for a particular machine or for all virtual machines. The two options you can modify include: To modify what gets logged for a virtual machine, add either or both of the options to the virtual machine's configuration (.vmx) file. To modify what gets logged for all virtual machines on a host, add either or both of the options to the GSX Server config.ini file, located by default in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware GSX Server. |
