VMware

To begin your relationship with VMware support, you must create a VMware profile and register your products.

  1. Go to www.vmware.com.
  2. Select My Account in the top right hand corner of the web page.
  3. If you are a New Customer, go to step 4 below. Otherwise, select the Register a Product link and proceed
    to step 8.

  4. If you are a new customer, select Register Now.

  5. Fill out all required fields.
  6. If your software purchase is for personal use:

    • In the Company Name field, type "personal"
    • In the Department field, select "other"


  7. Once your profile has been created, click the My Account link to get back to the Account Home page

  8. Then click Register a Product to register your product.

  9. Type your serial number or license activation code exactly as it is written. Note: In all cases "0" is the digit zero and not the letter "O".

  10. Once the form is complete, select Continue.

Serial Number or Licensing Activation Codes Errors

If you receive an error message when trying to register your serial number or license, please contact our Licensing department or contact VMware Licensing at:
