This chapter describes virtual machine and virtual machine group tasks, including adding and removing a virtual machine to and from VirtualCenter, and powering on and off virtual machines. Refer to the appropriate chapter for information on deploying from a template, creating a clone from an existing virtual machine, creating, deleting, migrating, customizing, and editing the configuration of a virtual machine.

You need a Virtual Machine Administrator role assigned to the virtual machine to perform the activities described in this chapter.
