VMware

No other virtualization platform vendor provides the breadth of production-proven virtualization and cloud management solutions offered by VMware. Best of all, with the VMware vCloud Suite, you get a complete, integrated suite that simplifies IT operations while delivering the best SLAs for all applications.

The vCloud Suite includes all of the following capabilities:

  • Centralized Virtualization Management
  • Automated Host Patching
  • Operations Management
  • Disaster Recovery
  • 3rd Party Integrations

Centrally Manage Thousands of Virtual Machines

VMware vCenter Server can centrally manage hundreds of hosts (up to 1,000 per vCenter) and thousands of virtual machines (up to 10,000 per vCenter), delivering operational automation, resource optimization and high availability to IT environments. Using a single web-based client for all tasks, administrators can provision, configure, start, stop, delete, relocate and remotely access virtual machines with keyboard and mouse control. VMware vCenter Server also has a Linked Mode that provides visibility across multiple vCenter Server instances, with roles, permissions and licenses replicated across the infrastructure so you can simultaneously log in, view and search the inventories of up to 10 vCenter Servers.

VMware vSphere with Operations Management provides automated capacity optimization, reclaims overprovisioned capacity, increases resource utilization and eliminates the need for spreadsheets or complex scripts. In addition, wizard-based "What If" scenarios facilitate capacity optimizations and help defer unnecessary hardware investments.

Other virtualization platforms offer either incomplete solutions or require a customer to deploy, configure, and manage multiple applications—often from third parties—just to obtain a subset of the functionality available in VMware vCenter Server.

VMware vCenter Server delivers the highest levels of simplicity, efficiency, security and reliability to manage small and large virtualized IT environments including:

  • Centralized management
  • Performance monitoring
  • Operational automation
  • Clustering and pooling of physical resources
  • Rapid provisioning
  • Secure access control
  • Full SDK support for integrations
