This is a BattleField 2 Linux server setup just for the purpose of hosting your own BF2 Server either at a local lan party or out on the internet. The server was build using the latest version of the free VMware server. There is a README.TXT file contained under the /home/bf2admin folder and the BF2 server is installed under the /home/bf2 folder. All you need to do is go and modify the IP address for the VM machine and in the config file for BF2. The instructions for this plus the settings for BF2 are contanied within the README.TXT file. The BF2 server is set to start on boot.

This has been updated as well with the latest version of BF2 and can be managed remotelt via the BF2CC client as well.
