Description

We built the Squid Proxy with Content filtering appliance out of need for a specialized device like this. This is a truly plug and play device, since its setup for DHCP, other than the fact that you have to manually enter in the proxy address into each browser, it will start working right away. Dansguardian also has built in Clamav anti-virus content filtering so you are assured to be protected from malware from web browsing. This Proxy appliance can be run as a standalone server on your network or on your desktop in vmware player to help filter your web-browsing. Configuration of squid and dansguardian can be done via the console.
