The Typo3 Virtual Appliance (T3VM) is for web designers and developers who want a testing environment for their projects. This is a "out of the box" Typo3 solution to run with VMWare Player as well as WMWare Server.
The Linux and Typo3 System is preconfigured in German. You can change it to your own language at any time.
Howto:
- Simply Download the torrent file on our website and download the compressed (tar.gz) file.
- Fire up VMWare Server or Player and load the .vmx file.
- If you get the questions concerning "the config has changed" just click keep.
- The System will boot and ask your DHCP for an IP address, if you do not have a DHCP-Server running you can configure a static IP on debian in /etc/network in the interface file
- Point your browser to the IP address an add /typo3 (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/typo3) The log in screen of Typo3 should appear.
Login:
- for Typo3 login is "administrator" and "passwort"
- for Linux login is "root" and "passwort"
