Puppy Linux 2.16.1 with BigAl 2.4.0 installed
Puppy Linux 2.16.1 with BigAl 2.4.0 installed for "stop and continue" calculations
Features
With this VMware image you can boot Puppy Linux 2.16.1 from Barry Kauler (http://www.puppylinux.com) and you get not only a small, and very comfortable Linux environment, but also a free "stop and continue" feature for BigAl - a calculator for calculating really big numbers.
The Virtual applicance can be used to perform calculations which could take hours, days, months or even years, because you can interrupt a calculation at any time and you can continue a calculation whenever you want. You can even continue a calculation on a different computer - many thanks to the save/restore state features of VMware!
