VMware on VMware embodies the commitment of VMware to customers to provide transparency, continued innovation and success. We are passionate about sharing our knowledge of, and experience in, using VMware products.
VMware Is Customer One
VMware on VMware has two main goals. The first is to deploy VMware product releases into various environments throughout the development process, allowing us to provide invaluable feedback to R&D and product development teams by reporting bugs and recommending feature enhancements based on our experience with the product.
Secondly, as first adopters of VMware technology, or Customer One, we share stories and firsthand accounts with customers of our operational experience, including the benefits and challenges of using VMware products globally at scale. Deploying our own products replicates the same issues our customers encounter, and we share our solutions to issues that might arise for customers using VMware products.
We partner with VMware field and sales organizations to share our knowledge and best practices as IT professionals with customers via Zoom webinars, 1:1 customer meetings small group roundtable discussions and corporate events. In addition, we publish our findings in our IT Annual Report , blogs , case studies, You Tube and Twitter channels.

Many of my customers were unaware of the full potential of VMware products. To educate and inspire them, I began collaborating with VMware on VMware to highlight the possibilities of VMware products, especially regarding a specific capability or feature the customer has a license for. Customers are also impressed that a 1:1 session can be organized virtually. My customers say it's good to see how VMware solutions work in “real life,” and to get ideas for new use cases. Working with VMware on VMware is a real pleasure.
VMware on VMware team helped my customer perceive the value of our solution by placing it in a concrete and large-scale context. From how we deliver a device with zero touch to product end of life, VMware on VMware is able to showcase our entire platform. We also benefit from the experience of VMware Workspace One® admins. who help customers better understand how the solution is configured at VMware to reach specific objectives. The transparency, simplicity and results obtained internally help reassure customers.
My team engages with VMware on VMware when my customers request specific topics about which they need more knowledge. For instance, Zero Trust was originally a buzzword that needed to be defined for the customer. Using actual examples from practitioners inside VMware gives customers a lot more confidence, especially for their real-life use cases. According to customers, the operational expertise delivered by VMware on VMware is the cherry on the cake. VMware on VMware provides much value when engaging with customers.
I am a techie and former systems engineer, and I thought thr VMware on VMware session was the best I have seen delivered in a long time. Beautiful flow, insightful delivery, engaging presentation. I understand how complex the Windows 10 journey is, but the VMware on VMware team removed the complexity and worry and spoke at a human level to put the customer at ease and show first-hand the “art of the possible.” I was like “wow” as the presentation was delivered: that’s the best compliment I’ve ever given. The VMware on VMware team honestly makes a huge impact.

Once I learned the power of speaking up and advocating for myself, the doors of opportunity opened wide—and never closed. VMware reflects and encourages this philosophy, and that’s one of the big reasons I love working here as a colleague support engineer.
As the leader of the global Audio-Visual team at VMware, I try to infuse my team members with the same passion, energy, and enthusiasm I have for developing meaningful and progressive technology solutions that support our global meeting and event experiences. These efforts ultimately break down barriers created by physical distance, cultural communication, diversity, and personal limitations. And I love connecting people with the technology that enables a more productive experience.
As a database architect at VMware, I take a straightforward approach to challenges. I’m endlessly curious about the root cause of any problem—from disaster recovery to designing highly available architecture—and how IT can solve it in the simplest, most efficient way. I care about this because enterprises tend to overcomplicate solutions rather than look at the big picture of how customers actually use the technology. This can lead to delivering quick fixes instead of long-term answers and prevention.
The key components to managing technology change are delivering quality IT processes at speed, eliminating redundant/time-consuming tasks, reducing overhead and doing it all securely. That’s a big part of my job as Senior Manager, IT Applications. But another significant part is helping DevOps become an organizational/cultural change agent. And that’s what makes what I do so exciting—I get to both create change solutions and shepherd them to make employees/external customers as efficient and productive as possible.
On paper, I use machine learning and micro-services to ensure internal/external end users are their most productive. But I’ve discovered that what truly drives innovation, better solutions and better products is a passion and curiosity for the work. I actually love coming to work (!) as a Member of Technical Staff, Emerging Technologies, knowing I can think out of the box to make things simpler, easier, and even more fun so people enjoy the technology instead of resenting it.
