VMware Pulse IoT Center End of Life

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for using VMware Pulse IoT Center. Since we introduced the IoT device management platform in 2018, our team has received a lot of great feedback from users like you.

VMware sees the opportunity in edge moving from specific IoT use cases to broader edge infrastructure support. We are investigating how to support IoT and edge use cases, and believe they will be better served by developing other product portfolio offerings.

As a result, we have decided to sunset our VMware Pulse IoT Center offerings.   VMware Lifecycle Support Policy for each version follows:

• 1.x: General support for 1.x ended on January 18, 2020.
  
• 2.0 On-premises: General support for 2.x on-premises will end on September 5, 2021. We are not planning further releases at this time.
• 2.0 SaaS: We are also sunsetting our SaaS offering. For those who have been using this offering, we will be reaching out to you to discuss its wind down. To avoid any data loss, please make arrangements to back up your workloads currently running on VMware Pulse IoT Center before the shutdown date that will be communicated to you.
