RailTel Corporation is one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers in India. Owing to its rich experience in Telecom and ICT, it was entrusted to spearhead the Indian Government’s e-governance initiative of providing a central digital workspace solution for government and public sector agencies through e-Office – a cloud-enabled service. To help RailTel scale and modernize its data center, VMware partnered with SISL Infotech and VMware Consulting Services to successfully deploy a cloud-ready data center. The elaborate suite of solutions deployed at RailTel included VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vRealize Operations and vRealize Automation, which laid a robust foundation for a secure and scalable cloud infrastructure.
