Keeping Cambodia’s Top Financial App Available At All Times

Advanced Bank of Asia wanted to develop a mobile app to attract a new generation of customers that are open to using digital banking innovations. However its inflexible IT infrastructure of physical servers made it a challenge. By virtualizing the hardware servers with VMware vSphere and VMware vCloud Suite, the bank was able to develop and launch the ABA Mobile app, on which 80% of all banking transactions can be carried out. The app was so popular that it led to a 10-fold growth in individual accounts in the last five years.
