Senior Vice President and General Manager, End-User Computing
Boaz Chalamish joined VMware in June 2009 and leads the company's end-user computing business, bringing more than 17 years of experience in strategy, research and development, products and business development. He is responsible for strategy, products, engineering and delivery across all of VMware's end-user computing solutions. Most recently, Chalamish was senior vice president of research and development at HP Software.
Prior to HP, he was senior vice president and general manager at Mercury Interactive, where he was instrumental in helping create the Business Technology Optimization category. While at Mercury, Chalamish was responsible for global research and development activities and driving product development and strategy, helping the business grow from zero to $1 billion in annual sales. Chalamish received his MBA at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and holds an MSC in computer engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology.
