Mike Gannon

Mike Gannon joined VMware in 2015 and has responsibility for the sales, go-to-market strategy, business operations, strategic planning, and overall management of VMware’s business in the Americas. Prior to this role, Mike was the vice president for VMware’s US Strategic business, responsible for driving business growth, sales and operations across Strategic accounts in the United States. Previous to this role, Mike was instrumental in hiring a world-class Hyper Converged/Software Defined specialist organization setting in motion VMware’s market leadership position in this critical segment. Mike has enjoyed more than 25 years of experience in the technology sector spanning leadership roles at EMC Corporation, Isilon Systems and VMware. Mike holds a business associate degree from S.U.N.Y. Oswego and continues to sponsor and lead professional development programs.
