VMware Marketplace launches third-party commerce capability
Today, we are excited to announce the availability of commercial transactions on VMware Marketplace. With this new capability, customers can purchase third-party partner solutions directly from VMware Marketplace and deploy these solutions to VMware endpoints. VMware Marketplace now serves as the single location to discover, try, purchase, and deploy VMware ecosystem solutions. This feature marks the next step towards VMware’s commitment to empower application developers, architects, platform, digital teams, cloud administrators and more to be able to choose and utilize the right set of tools for their unique goals.

DataStax on VMware Marketplace
In May, we introduced Platform Validation, which automatically validates publisher solutions on pre-selected target platforms. For Marketplace users, this guarantees that the latest version of a chosen solution will work as expected on the latest version of their chosen deployment platform at any point in time.

This month, we added K8ssandra Cloud Native Distribution of Apache Cassandra by DataStax to our list of solutions validated through Platform Validation on VMware Marketplace.
