Our accessibility team updated VMware's Accessibility Policy to have a broader scope and clearer criteria to drive accountability VMware-wide, expanded accessibility into VMware’s product strategy while also paving the way for mandated accessibility training.

Our team created and launched VMware’s first-ever “shift-left” accessibility effort, Embedded Accessibility Strategists (EAS), a team of accessibility experts that was deployed across VMware to integrate into the end-to-end lifecycles of VMware’s most critical products, providing accessibility guidance and best practices to product designers, developers, and product managers across over 20 products.

Our designers played a pivotal role in both the VMware SASE™ and VMware Secure Access™ teams, both of which secured gold awards in the 2022 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

Our team was an integral part of VMware Telco Cloud Automation, which garnered the 2022 FutureNet World Orchestration Award, acknowledging its status as the most innovative solution for automated service orchestration.

It can be hard to reach enterprise customers for user research, so we built a base of 1000+ users that we speak to every week.

We continue to grow awareness of the role of design and look for better ways to collaborate. We also flew in our global design team!

With a team of 11, we built an open-source design system ground-up that is now adopted across our 100+ products.
