FAQs

Do I have to complete the requirements in the order listed?

No, however we strongly recommend that you do so. Also, please note that successfully registering to take an exam does not imply that you meet the certification requirements in full.

If I earned the VCP6-NV by passing the first NSX 6.0 exam (2V0-641), may I use the newer exam based on NSX 6.2 (2V0-642) to recertify my VCP?

Yes, you can recertify your VCP6-NV by passing the 2V0-642 exam.

How can I prove my Cisco certification for Path 2?

Please click here for instructions on how to submit proof.

If I hold a valid CCIE Data Center or CCIE Routing & Switching certification can these be validated for me to earn my VCP6-NV certification without taking a course, or do I have to go for the VCIX6-NV?

By owning a valid CCIE Data Center or CCIE Routing & Switching certification you are able to go for the VCP6-NV certification without completing a course. You will not be limited to only the VCIX6-NV.
