Offensive and defensive DX in retail supported by VMware
Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. (Seven & i) developed complementary digital transformation initiatives to provide new customer innovations while simultaneously optimizing security and efficiency: offensive DX and defensive DX. These initiatives are underpinned by VMware Cloud Foundation and VMware Horizon, which deliver heightened security and consistent app virtualization throughout the integrated infrastructure across operating companies within the Group. A key accomplishment of this strategy is a new data-driven logistics platform “Last Mile DX Platform,” which is aimed at transforming product delivery and enhancing the customer experience.
