Jason Conyard is the Chief Information Officer at VMware. He joined VMware in July 2015. Starting Oct 2020, he leads its global information and technology organization, a group that manages critical technology systems supporting the company’s worldwide business operations. He is passionate about driving the Digital Strategy for VMware and its customers in close partnership across the company.
He has a sustained track record of delivering large scale transformation programs through collaboration, planning and governance. Conyard is passionate about developing talent, promoting diversity and equity in the workplace, and is an executive sponsor for Pride at VMware.
Earlier, Conyard was the Vice President, Colleague Experience and Technology at VMware with responsibility for all VMware colleague-facing technology, reshaping VMware’s IT organization to put people and experience at the forefront. This includes the unified communication and collaboration program, worldwide colleague support, and IT for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
A respected industry veteran, Conyard brings more than 25 years of experience in executing and driving change in global technology companies. Prior to joining VMware, Conyard served as vice president, IT at Juniper Networks, where he led infrastructure and end user services globally, managing a multinational team and service providers. Before joining Juniper Networks, he served as Managing Director for BlackRock (formerly Barclays Global Investors), was a Principal at Global Communications Partners and served as Director of Worldwide Communications at Symantec.
