How to Request Verification of your External Certification
Only below Active/Non-Expired CISCO or CompTIA or EC-Council or ISACA or Global Information Assurance (SANS Institute) or (ISC)2 certification qualify as meeting a VMware Certified Professional - Security requirement.

- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA Certified Penetration Tester (PenTest+)
- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
EC-Council
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)
ISACA
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Global Information Assurance (SANS Institute)
- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
- GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)
(ISC)2
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Please follow below steps to submit the proof of your certification:
- Login to your CertManager account
- Navigate to ‘History tab’
- Click on ‘Create other requirement’
- Click on Security Certification
- Select the respective certification credential from the list
- Click on ‘Accept selection’
- Select the date you are submitting from ‘Active Date’
- Submit the below details you are providing in the ‘Notes’ section:
- Link to verify your certification with verification code (if any)
- Certified Date
- Expiry Date
- Documentation language is ‘English’ always
- Attach your eCertificate by clicking on the ‘Select’ option
- Click on ‘Create’
- Your Security certification requirement is submitted
- Please allow 48-72hrs to receive confirmation on your certification credential verification.
