VMWARE PARTNER DEMAND CENTER SCAVENGER HUNT COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ELIGIBILITY
The VMware Partner Demand Center Scavenger Hunt (“Competition”) is a partner incentive program offered to individuals who are VMware Partner Connect partners at the Enrolled/Authorized level or higher, with an active profile on Partner Demand Center. By participating in the Competition, participants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of VMware, which shall be final, binding and conclusive in all matters relating hereto.
COMPETITION PERIOD
Competition begins on March 16, 2022 at 12:01 am PST and ends on April 29, 2022 at 11:59pm PST (“Competition Period”). VMware’s clock shall be the official time keeping device of the Promotion.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Eligible Participants must answer all the questions correctly on the Partner Demand Center Scavenger Hunt Submission Form (“Submission Form”) in Excel to win. The completed file should be sent to: HelpdeskPlus@vmware.com. Timing is based on the timestamp of the entry email to the Helpdesk Plus team. Partners must accept the terms and conditions to be eligible. To enter the bonus raffle one (1) or more social media posts will need to be made on or before April 29, 2022. A screenshot of the social media post will need to be included on the submission form where indicated. Submission forms must be sent by April 29, 2022 at 11:59pm PST.
PRIZES
Osprey Backpack – the first fifteen (15) partners who enter and complete the scavenger hunt tasks outlined in the submission form will receive one (1) VMware Osprey backpack with a retail value of approximately US $145.00.
Camelbak Backpack – the next twelve (12) partners who enter and complete the scavenger hunt tasks outlined in the submission form will receive one (1) VMware Camelbak backpack with a retail value of approximately US $65.00.
Tumbler – the next one-hundred and twenty-three (123) partners who enter and complete the scavenger hunt tasks outlined in the submission form will receive one (1) VMware tumbler with a retail value of approximately US $21.00.
BONUS RAFFLE
Bonus raffle – A partner who completes with bonus task of posting on social media using the Partner Demand Center and including a screenshot on the submission form will be entered in random drawing on or about May 20, 2022. The winner will have a choice to receive one (1) of the following: One (1) pair Apple AirPods Pro (ARV USD $249.00) OR One (1) pair Beats Fit Pro True Wireless Earbuds (ARV USD $199.99).
ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS
Competition is offered only to VMware Partner Connect partners at the Enrolled/Authorized level or higher, to the contact listed in Partner Demand Center Partner Profile. Government and Public Sector Employees: VMware is committed to complying with government gift and ethics rules and therefore government and public sector employees are not eligible.
PRIZE WINNERS
Winners will be notified by May 20, 2022 and will be notified by e-mail. Prizes are non-transferable or redeemable for cash and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at VMware’s sole discretion. VMware reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and compliance with their respective organizations’ ethics and compliance policies. If the given mailing address is invalid or not provided, partners will have two weeks to respond to an email from PartnerDemandCenter@vmware.com confirming their information. VMware reserves the right to forfeit the prize for the partner if a response is not provided.
PUBLICITY
Participant hereby grants VMware the right to publicize Participant’s name(s), likeness(es), and the description of Participant’s Submission. Apart from the prizes associated with being selected as a winner, VMware shall not be obligated to compensate Participant in any way for such publicity. In addition, all Participants agree to cooperate with VMware’s publicity efforts, including the agreement to use their name, address (city, state and country only) and likeness for publicity purposes and to use the statements made by, or attributed to, the winners relating to VMware and any and all rights to said use, without further compensation.
LAW / JURISDICTION
In the event that any of the terms of this Competition or the performance of any obligation by either party hereunder becomes or is declared to be illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction or other governmental body, such term(s) shall be null and void and shall be deemed deleted, all remaining terms of this Competition shall remain in full force and effect.
The Competition and the rights and obligations of VMware and Participants will be governed and controlled by the laws of the State of California, applicable to contracts made and performed therein without reference to the applicable choice of law provisions. All actions, proceedings or litigation relating hereto will be instituted and prosecuted solely within the State of California, Santa Clara County. The parties’ consent to the jurisdiction of the state courts of California and federal court located within such state and county with respect to any action, dispute or other matter pertaining to or arising out of the Competition.
