Software Licensing
Academic Software Licensing Program
This Program supports the use of virtualization applications & software in teaching and research. The program provides software for personal use, whether as part of STEAM classes, in research projects, or for gaining hands-on experience with VMware products.
Learn More About Software Licensing
Accredited, worldwide education institutions offering 2, 3- or 4-year programs (or equivalent) and technical schools offering accredited degrees are eligible to participate in the program. VMware works closely with partners to provide access to provides authorized users with the self-service capability to download software and license keys.
