This document lists CIM monitoring plug-ins, also referred to as CIM providers, developed and released by server, storage, and I/O device vendors for monitoring their hardware on VMware vSphere systems. For support and availability information of any desired providers, please refer to the vendor directly
The CIM providers listed below passed VMware's CIM Provider Acceptance Test (CIM PAT), which allows these vendors to provide a measure of reliability and stability of their code. All the tests contained in CIMPAT are meant to exercise and provide coverage of the provider's intrinsic methods. Testing consists of running tools that verify that the behavior of a CIM provider does not introduce undesirable effects on the operation of the system as a whole.
