About the Host
As Vice President of Global Partner & Alliances Marketing, Kathleen leads Marketing for VMware across the Partner Ecosystem. Her responsibilities include leading the development of VMware’s Partner Marketing Strategy with Global and Regional Sales Leaders, and leading the Global Partner & Alliances Marketing Organization. This organization oversees development, strategy, and execution of Partner Awareness & Engagement programs – including branding, partner program marketing, channel events, and partner communications, as well as global development of programs, platforms, and MDF program execution to support growth of Partners’ VMware business around the globe and across all routes-to-market. A passionate advocate for Partners with VMware customers and employees, Kathleen has held numerous VMware leadership roles since joining in 2009, including Sr. Director of Portfolio Marketing to drive integrated marketing strategy and programs across Global & Field Marketing for VMware entire solutions portfolio, and Director of Professional and Education Services Marketing.
Before joining VMware, Kathleen held management positions at NetApp and Hewlett-Packard where she established a track record of taking on new businesses and new initiatives to drive growth, including establishing new distribution channels and new routes-to-market. Kathleen holds degrees from Stanford University and the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and in addition to being an advocate for VMware’s partners she is committed to being active in her local community where she serves on boards focusing on community engagement and girls’ education
