VMware will offer 4 years of support from the general availability of a new VCF Major Release.

General Support 4 years

VCF General Support will be provided for a minimum of 4 years from general availability of a Major Release. Security and bug fixes will be provided in maintenance releases that will be applied to the latest Minor release series within a given Major release series.

VCF General Support includes support for these components as part of a VCF deployment:

  • vSphere (vCenter Server and ESXi)
  • vSAN
  • NSX
  • SDDC Manager

Support for vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager follows a different policy and is not included in VCF General Support.

 
Technical Guidance 1 year VCF Technical Guidance will be provided for 1 year following the End of General Support.
