The license for vSphere Replication 6.1 is included in the following editions of vSphere.
You can perform in-place upgrades of existing vSphere Replication installations to certain newer versions.

NOTE: vSphere Replication requires that the vCenter Server version and the vSphere Web Client version in and across all replication sites are the same.
For vCenter Server to vCenter Server replications, the version of the vSphere Replication Management server on the source and the target site must match.
