This document provides instructions on how to install and configure the Microsoft Lync 2013 client or the Skype for Business client for use with View virtual desktops in Horizon 7, Horizon 6, and View 5.3 and 5.2. Within View virtual desktops, Lync 2013 and Skype for Business support unified communications, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and videoconferencing capabilities, without the need for a dedicated IP phone.
