This paper describes the validation testing for high availability that was performed using Oracle Database with vSphere 5.1 advanced features including vMotion, Storage vMotion, Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), High Availability (HA), and Fault Tolerance (FT). All of the tests were conducted on a testing architecture that employed Hewlett-Packard server and storage hardware.
