Horizon 6 on Hyperconverged Infrastructures

This paper examines the performance and workload test results for a hyperconverged infrastructure in a View virtualized desktop environment in VMware Horizon 6. Specifically, tests were carried out with Login VSI workloads and View operations tests on a deployment of 250 linked-clone virtual desktops on Supermicro 2U TwinPro2 servers with Horizon 6. Testing also included application delivery with VMware App Volumes AppStacks. The results validated hyperconverged infrastructure performance with View in Horizon 6 version 6.2 and App Volumes for 250 linked-clone virtual desktops.
