End of Availability of vCenter Application Discovery Manager
VMware is announcing the End of Availability of all VMware vCenter Application Discovery Manager (ADM) versions, effective of 06/01/2013. As a result, all versions of vCenter Application Discovery Manager will be removed from the VMware price list on 06/01/2013. After this date you will no longer be able to purchase these products.
All support and maintenance for the removed versions will be unaffected and will continue as per VMware Life Cycle policy through the published support period, 9/13/2014. Furthermore, VMware will extend the support and maintenance window until 03/08/2017. Therefore, existing customers can continue to use ADM beyond the End of Availability and receive customer support until 03/08/2017.

Announcing vCenter Application Discovery Manager (ADM) Final Extension of General Support
Dear Valued Customer,
In April of 2013, VMware announced the End of Availability of all VMware vCenter Application Discovery Manager (ADM) versions, effective of June 1st, 2013. Originally, VMware extended the support and maintenance window of vCenter ADM to December 31st, 2015, and later extended it further to March 8th, 2017.
VMware has decided to further extend and maintain vCenter ADM v7.1 for our select group of current active support customers. The End of General Support (EOGS) date for vCenter ADM 7.1 is now either June 30th, 2020 or your current contract end date, whichever comes first.
Once again, VMware will continue to support vCenter ADM 7.1 only until the end of your current contract. You will no longer be able to extend your support contract for vCenter ADM, nor can you purchase any additional support for vCenter ADM.
In all cases, VMware will no longer offer maintenance and support for vCenter ADM after June 30th, 2020.

VMware wants to ensure that the customer impact of EOL'ing ADM is minimal. There is no product in VMware's product portfolio with similar capabilities as in ADM and therefore VMware cannot offer a replacement product. However, VMware has decided to further extend and maintain vCenter ADM v7.1 for our select group of current active support customers. The End of General Support (EOGS) date for vCenter ADM 7.1 is now either June 30th, 2020 or your current contract end date, whichever comes first.
